Maybe really high mileage, since the ad doesn’t list it? Also, door jambs look like it used to be silver, so maybe a respray that looks worse in person? If there was a VIN I’d run it, I’ve got a couple extra CarFaxes burning a hole in my pocket. Also, I do not have $3k burning a hole in my pocket.

The key is to have a job that requires a ton of nights, weekends, and travel, in an industry that treats people who go on vacation as unworthy and unreliable, so that you don’t have much opportunity to spend money on things like recreational travel, eating out, entertainment, etc. Those things are expensive, you know.
